The Snowy Mountains of Merida Environment

The Snowy Mountains of Merida is a Venezuelan Myth that tells the Story of how the titular mountains came to be.

For Guardian of Lore, I was in charge of making the concept art for the level, as well as producing in-game assets for it.
These following images are taken from the first area of the level that the player sees, and it is entirely based in the Uverito Pine forest in Venezuela, with a touch of fantastical elements (such as floating Islands!)

In order to get Parallax effects in-game, the environment was divided into layers of different Z positions inside Unity.

Most platforms like these used Unity's Sprite Shapes feature, so they could be scaled horizontally.
